Seawa Watershed Alberta

SEAWA (South East Alberta Watershed Alliance) is a collaborative, multi-stakeholder, non-profit society that serves as a Watershed Planning and Advisory Council (WPAC) for the South Saskatchewan River Sub-basin.
The Government of Alberta works with WPACs to achieve the goals of the Water for Life Strategy. These goals are healthy aquatic ecosystems, reliable, quality water supplies for a sustainable economy, and safe, secure drinking water within reservoirs. SEAWA’s vision is a healthy watershed that balances social, environmental, and economic benefits.
